Hyndburn Leisure is pleased to present Accrington Town Hall’s classic ballroom, now unveiled as a venue for wedding receptions, proms and events after a £750k restoration.

The ballroom is suitable for a host of occasions, from wedding receptions and school prom evenings to family parties, wakes, christenings, sportsmans dinners, dedications and live shows.

It has a capacity of 350, while 240 people can comfortably be accommodated for a sit-down meal.

Leading up to the ballroom is a grand staircase that lends itself to red carpet entrances and a memorable photography backdrop.

Dating back to 1858, the ballroom has undergone a respectful restoration to enhance its striking original features while bringing its facilities right up-to-date for modern events and functions.

The multifunctional ballroom space features a fully sprung dancefloor – the only other of its kind in the North West is at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. With striking acoustics and a cutting edge multi-coloured lighting scheme, the revamped ballroom is serviced by two new bars – one located behind the stage area and a mezzanine cocktail bar overlooking the main space.
